Accident? Doubt It...
...Cheney fails to become the second person in the Bush administration to murder someone, but not fromt lack of trying. Sometimes tells me his hunting "buddy" was some slight moderate who occasionally threw an Iraq joke in his face.
Of course they were hunting quail, which are birds...that fly...and a gun should've always been pointed up and Cheney broke hunting rule number one, don't shoot the hunter or the dogs.
The always responsible administration released this info a day late by the way, I guess they wanted to make sure the guy wasn't dead.

This Needed Updating..

I decided to post up one of Tony's phootos with each new post for a while. This was from the aftermath of Hurricane Jeanne in 2004. Still one of the more frightening experiences I've been through.
Speaking of Tony, my co-worker wrote a funny and enlightening column about him [
The Ledger]. Unfortunately his column was yanked soonthereafter for no legitimate reason. However, it was a nice piece and Ted is a good man for writing it.
It's amazing how time flies, I can't believe it's been two weeks since I've wrote in this thing. I normally never take a break that long without being on vacation or something. I watched the Super Bowl of course, a rather non-descript contest with terrible coaching from the Seahawks and bad officiating.
I enjoyed the Grammies, I'm a big John Legend fan so I was glad to see him take home a few trophies. The opening act, at least the first half of it, was great. And unlike some, I like Mariah and it's not a bad little CD she released. Of course the Grammies haven't been significant in years since they are so willing to use the show as a three-hour eulogy (i.e. Connor Clapton & Ray Charles). I did think it was funny that Kelly Clarkson (who I begrudgingly admit, doesn't suck) didn't thank American Idol in either of her speeches. She shouldn't be ashamed of the show that launched her career and saved her tons of money in studio costs, marketing and otherwise.
Anyway there is a bit going on that I hope to share with you soon, but I can't right now because...well because nothing has actually happened yet. So until next time (which won't been in two weeks, I promise) be good to each other.
