Weekend Ramblings..
First and foremost a Katrina update. Here in West Central Florida I barely got a breeze, it should rain a bit tomorrow, but be worried about the panhandle. Those guys could use the breaks.
And onto another edition of ramblings.
-- I'm a few days away from my fantasy football draft. Do other guys get antsy before their fantasy sports drafts. I mean I'm picking #4 and it's a terrible spot because I'm wary of who might drop and who'll rise and what if I make the wrong pick. I liked the third slot more. Hopefully Tomlinson will fall to four...but that ain't happening.
-- Back to Hurricanes, does it annoy people when the Hurricane is supposed to show up and it doesn't? Sure it would be destructive if it came through, but still you bought all that beer and prepared for nothing more than a good thunderstorm.
-- Remember how much I loved the denim skirt....I really LOVE the denim skirt...But I hate capri pants, can't stand them. Either where shorts or wear pants. Women who wear capri pants can't decide anything. I'm convinced.
-- My job situation: Currently stagnant but with visions of city lights dancing in my head.
-- My 11-year class reunion is in a week. The 10 year was canceled due to Hurricane Frances. Not sure how I feel about it. I think it's too soon to see classmates, I really don't want to see many of them and the ones I do want to see, I have no clue what I will tell them.
-- I need a new vodka. Ketel One and Grey Goose are becoming out of date. Any suggestions?
-- Check out the cheap movie racks at your local Targer or Media Play (or that OTHER store), lots of goodness under $6 right now.
-- The Red Sox need to waive Curt Schilling, I'm convinced they'd be a better team without him.
-- I hate traffic. Driving to Orlando is the ultimate pain in the ass.
-- I'd ramble about my sleeping disorder but that's a serious topic for a serious post.
-- I would say that Karl Rove is at least as treasonous as Bill Maher. He's definitely not as funny, but probably more treasonous.
-- Dream vacation right now...Probably the Spanish Riviera.
-- The more I hear about it, the more I believe Lance Armstrong has fooled many of his fans. I hope I'm wrong though.
More later.
