First Meatless Thursday...
...I have made a health-conscious decision to go vegeterian twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) mainly to get my fill of fruits and vegetables. I'm going to try to chef it up too much on meatless days. As a matter of fact I'm just having leftover pasta tonight with a chunky vegetable marinara sauce.
So far today things have been going ok. I started the day with some cinnamon spice oatmeal and I forgot my cup of fruit for a midday snack so I've had some sugarless gum, a chocolate chip granola bar and a bowl of tossed salad.
This really isn't so bad. I think I can hack this twice a week, especially since Pacific Wave has $1 sushi nights on Thursday. I can load up on cucumber rolls or something.
So this is good. I haven't killed yet. I could use a nice steak or a roast beef sandwich, but I'm chilling.
