I love the Spelling Bee, I'll probably sit here and watch it until it goes off. There's just something compelling about these freakish kids and the agony they suffer when they forget the 'a' in mycethophagous.
My favorite part of the spelling bee in the infamous stall tactic. I wrote about that last year [

A drunken Cam got a hold of my AIM last night and had a bit of a dilemma. It seems that he's broken up with his girlfriend, yet again, over something that needs to be discussed..
His woman, Ashley, apparently demanded he go with her to a wedding this fall. Sounds ok right? Problem is it's the Saturday of the FSU-Florida football game. This is bad. So basically he was giving an ultimatium -- either go to the wedding or break up.
Now at this point Cam would've been perfectly justified to dump her. I mean this is HER friend and he only met them once. Hell two of my good friends got married last year on FSU-Florida day...You think I went to their wedding? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I sent them a card and a gift certificate. They didn't miss me and even if they did, they could've chosen a better date.
But Cam, being far less drastic than me, tried to talk it out with Ashley. Now don't think I'm one of these instigating friends. I like Ashley. She's a big improvement over some of the things I've seen Cam run around with in the past. And she's a smart chick, got a little spunk to her. I can dig that.
But as a woman she should know that you don't mess with a man's toolbox or his football. That's stepping over the line. Their future together is murky at best because he's in law school and she's like...ummm wants to do dolphin heart surgery or packaging or something. And she really doesn't understand the perils of law school.
Plus there are a lot of attractive women in law school. His options aren't limited anymore. There are really two types of law school women. There are those who are career-oriented, they don't have time for men and don't even keep in touch with their friends *cough*Fackender*cough*. Then there are those who are husband-oriented. As we like to say they have went to law school searching for an MRS degree.
However, I'm getting off track. Cam wants to know why there isn't a punishment for those who plan weddings on Saturdays during football season. Why do these people exist and what can we do to get rid of them?
