First of 2007
I needed a few days to decide how I wanted to ring in 2007...or I was busy with work in Orlando. Probably the latter. However, I will blog more frequently and consistently in the new year so even during times of congestion in my life, I will express thoughts on electronic paper.
It has rained every day of 2007 so far and it seems pretty symbolic because it's been a dreary beginning...or at least until Notre Dame got
completely punked last night. But today it was sunny and so was my outlook on things.
I'm a little worried that will be the ebb and flow of the early part of 2007. Some days will be filled with sunshine and others with rain and that's probably not a bad thing because we all need a little rain in our lives. Rain forces us to slow down when we are driving on slick roads, it forces us to stay home and read a book or pay some bills. Rain makes us stop and think. Most importantly it will make us appreciate the sunshine a little more.
It's human nature to complain about what we don't have. Hell I do it all the time and I probably will continue to do it. However, I can't complain about the lack of opportunity right now. Because today I have the opportunity to get a more....and create new complaints about the things I don't have once I get the current things I want.
