The Non-Agenda Agenda Lunch
Okay, about two weeks ago my managing editor tells me she wants to have lunch. That's cool, I actually like my managing editor, she gets a bad rep, but I've always felt comfortable around her. It's a tough job and unfortunately much of the job is doing things that don't always make you popular.
So ok, cool, lunch with managing editor. But there's a loophole. The day before the lunch I get a message that the managing editor AND executive editor are in the lunch.
Oh boy.
Now this is a blessing in disguise, because I'll watch my words more carefully. Nothing incriminating. I have to be in the asking questions market instead of vice versa. I'll have an update on this when I get back. But wish me luck.
