I actually found this in one of the comments on Brent's site.

I'm reading how a new protest is sweeping this nation--the wearing of paperclips on lapels or collars. This is what the Norwegians did to silently protest the Nazis in WWII. I thought we should start. I'm going to begin tomorrow.

So me and a few co-workers started doing the paper clip thing since the office is overflowing with clips. Seems like a nice protest and if you are in favor of the war, you can silently support it by stapling your eyebrows together or something.
