Somewhat Bizarre...
Remember this song?
...Yeesh I remember hearing this song about...5291 times during my first week of living in Gainesville back in 1997. Unfortunately I didn't discover the town's hip-hop station until the end of the summer.
However I always dug this little tune and never knew there was a video to go with it. The guy in the back seat of the car cracks me up. He's too lazy to even bother lip synching.
Anyway, OMC is actually just one guy who was part of a rap group that disbanded of the same name. Apparently it's an acronym for Otara Millionaries Club, with Otara being the poverty-stricken, gang-infested part of Auckland, New Zealand where the guy grew up. I think this song sold like $15 million worldwide, making his proclamation true.
